Oluwatosin Hannah Abiade is a Model, Life Coach, Singer, Actress, Public/ virtual speaker and Activist. She is a multi-talented lady which shows in her personality and career. Her journey into modeling and the entertainment industry started after embarking on white-collar job for a while, she decided to pursue her passion after differentiating what she wanted in her life.
“I think a lot of people see the potential in me before I do. Many times I have been told to go into modeling and acting but there was no support in all aspects to inspire me. It was also tagged ‘dirty/useless work’ by people. Also, hearing that from people you don’t want to disappoint is enough to disorganise you emotionally. So, that made me lose confidence but deeply I know I am in love with it and meant for it.” says Oluwatosin.
The first step she took was into Acting. She saw an audition advertisement with a number online, she messaged the number and got connected from there on. It was like the heavens were with her. She got featured in a movie as a sub-lead role in “The Cross and the Moon ”. Oluwatosin was also casted in another movie, ATORI. She did a lot of video skits both personal and collaborative.
Oluwatosin also diverted into modeling and trained under DXC modeling Academy and one of her friends introduced her to a pageant called FPGD. She became the winner for Face of Peace and Global Development 2020. Oluwatosin is currently the 1st Runner-up for Miss Apex Queen Nigeria Organization. She has been a Soprano-Singer right from a young age and she sings various kinds such as Classical, Opera and contemporary Christian Music. She has been part of the choir in her church at a tender age and known for her activeness and courage. Oluwatosin won the Best Female Choir award in 2012. She always sings during her free time and when called on for duty.
Oluwatosin is grateful to God because her main reason for being a model is that she is already achieving it. Though it is not up to the standard she wanted yet, she is already making an impact in her own way. Oluwatosin always says she doesn’t want to be a model just for the camera but she wants to be part of the contributors for the peace, growth and development of her society, country and Africa.
Her contribution to humanity is the main goal for her, it pleasures her to the heart and derives joy from it. She use her platform to reach out to the needy, organising programmes to empower the youths. One of the programs she loves most which is focused on girl-child whereby she enlightens young girls and impacts knowledge in them about personal and Menstrual hygiene with Sanitary pads as part of incentives for their use. All she can say is “I love to do more”.
