Wassia is a dietician, Dona worked in insurance, and Bakus worked 10 years in the telecom world. All three lovers of good food, decided to get together to collaborate in a food truck project that offers Beninese street-food.

Historically, Tcha-tchan-ga is the name given to the spicy grill made by vendors in northern Benin, called the “Baba”. It is mutton, lamb or beef braised on the edges of the street of Benin. Each corner of Africa has its name for this grill (Tchichinga in Togo, Choukouya in Ivory Coast, and Dibi in Mali).
It was during their many trips to Benin that they were marked by this abundant craze in the heart of the Zongo district in Cotonou, of a Baba who exposed and cut meat for all to see with a delicious smell. This meat was succulent sprinkled with a spice wildly pungent and mesmerizing by its unique flavor.
They then decided to reproduce this concept in France, to make this African specialty known. After 3 years of testing, chefs Wassia and Bakus have succeeded in giving birth to the magical spice called Chachenga which reveals all the character of their organic meats, reasoned agriculture and carefully chosen. Chachenga offers you a culinary journey with authentic flavors.
