Mona Matthews: Delivering Quality Handmade Leather Shoe & Bag Designer since 2002

Mona Matthews, a wholly Nigerian Shoe Brand was formed in 2002 to bridge the gap in good quality leather shoes in Nigeria. The Brand runs a retail outlet and also makes high quality leather shoes and bags for individuals, corporates and schools, producing them to the client’s specifications. Schools like Loyola Jesuit Abuja and Kings College Lagos had their school shoes designed and produced by Mona Matthews for several years.

Our emphasis is on quality, comfort and durability without compromising on style. All our products are handmade to precision and all our craftsmen are seasoned professionals with minimum of 10 years each in the craft.

Mona Matthews is led by Monalisa Abimbola Azeh a lawyer who started making shoes to meet her own footwear needs. She is a Fate Foundation and Lagos Business School Alumnus. She also served on the Federal Government Leather Reformation Committee and is a Fate Foundation Mentor.
