Nikita Kering is a 19year old Award-winning singer and songwriter from Nairobi, Kenya. Nikita for the second time won the Best Female Artiste in Eastern Africa and Best Artiste in Africa R & B Soul at the recent All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) 2021. The annual awards event was held on Sunday night at the convention center of the prestigious Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos. AFRIMA, in collaboration with the African Union rewards and celebrates the Beauty Of African Music And Culture globally. In 2019, Nikitak Kering won All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) Revelation of the African Continent and Best Female Artist in Eastern Africa. She started singing at the age of three and developed her talent over the years to levels rarely witnessed in Kenya. In June 2020, she graduated from Brookhouse International School with a Distinction in Diploma in Business and Technology in Music (BTEC Music). Nikita Kering has produced two award winning songs and recently released a 7-track EP titled ‘A Side Of Me’. She is currently an independent Artist and also the Brand Ambassador for Samsung East Africa.
